Terms of use
The short version: this website is informational; buying STRAX happens inside the product or through a quote, and every licence is governed by its licence terms — not by this site.
Informational content
This website (strax.pro) describes the STRAX product. We keep it accurate and current, but its content may change without notice and is provided as is, without warranty. It does not constitute an offer.
Quotes and purchases
This website shows no prices and has no checkout. A STRAX licence is priced by written quote, or at the figure shown inside a STRAX installation when a package is bought there; that figure is exclusive of VAT. The seller in every case is Exousia Software Development (Pty) Ltd.
Purchases made inside the product are made by an administrator of that installation on behalf of the customer, for that installation. Each purchase is a licence for a fixed period — a monthly subscription charged each month, or twelve months prepaid — or a once-off entitlement (a premium marketplace bundle). Licences are cumulative: a newly bought edition starts its own period on purchase, the edition it replaces runs to its own end, and their capabilities and quantity limits combine. No purchase is prorated against another.
The licence is issued when payment is confirmed and is bound to the installation that bought it. Cancelling a monthly subscription stops future charges; the period already paid for remains licensed. Refunds are considered on request, quoting the order reference; a refunded purchase is reversed on the licence exactly as it was applied. Each customer's use of STRAX remains governed by the licence terms and, where one exists, the agreement signed with them — not by this page.
VAT
Value-added tax at the South African rate (currently 15%) is added for buyers whose billing country is South Africa; a tax invoice is issued. Buyers outside South Africa are not charged South African VAT and are responsible for any tax due in their own jurisdiction.
Payment processing
Card payments are processed by Paystack on its own hosted checkout page under its terms; card details are entered there and never reach Exousia Software Development (Pty) Ltd or the STRAX installation. Invoice / EFT payments are made to the bank account shown on the order page and matched by the order reference. Payment confirmations are received by the STRAX licence service, which issues the licence.
Usage and overage
Each STRAX licence includes defined monthly usage volumes. Usage beyond an included volume is billed at the licence's overage rates on a separate monthly invoice — it is never charged through the in-product checkout. Usage never interrupts the service: exceeding an included volume does not suspend, throttle or degrade any functionality. Included volumes shown on this website are illustrative examples; the volumes and rates that apply to a customer are those of their licence, quote or signed agreement.
Marketplace listings
Marketplace listings shown here are the public view of the STRAX catalogue. Premium bundles can be bought inside the product, where the figure is shown before purchase, or on quote. Supplier listings are reviewed before publication, and each package's security screening results are disclosed — installing a package remains your decision, made inside the product.
Ownership
STRAX, its logo and this website's content belong to Exousia Software Development (Pty) Ltd. Third-party names appearing in the catalogue belong to their respective owners and appear for identification.
Governing law
These terms and this website are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
